Lesley Diana established The Promotion People in 1994, after years of working in the media and entertainment industry, both in front of the camera and behind-the-scenes. As a Unit Publicist with I.A.S.T.E. 669, she has worked on over 80 high feature film and television series, including films and series shot in Vancouver for Sony Pictures, DirecTV and eOne TV. She has also completed successful publicity campaigns for television series produced by Thunderbird Films and Great Pacific TV, and has been the publicist for countless projects from IndustryWorks Pictures. As a Personal Publicist to some of Canada’s most talented actors, she has worked alongside some of the country’s brightest stars as their careers rise on the big and small screens.
When not working on movie sets, Lesley has worked with an incredible roster of clients including Emmanuelle Vaugier, Nicole Oliver, Todd Talbot, Gabrielle Miller, Terry Chen, Michael Eklund, Cory Monteith, Maestro Fresh Wes Williams, Tammy Gillis, Cle Bennett, Erin Karpluk and Hall of Fame inductee musician David Sancious of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Sting, and Peter Gabriel. She has produced feature film Electronic Press Kits featuring interviews with actors Jerry Stiller, Brooke Shields, Peter Coyote, Wendy Crewson, Oscar nominee Abagail Breslin, Malcolm McDowell, Joe Lando, Kevin Zegers, Kevin Dillon, Peter Gallagher, Tom Green and many more. Lesley and her team have produced some of the most impressive Red Carpet events at the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games, the Vancouver International Film Festival, The Leo Awards and the Canadian Country Music Awards.
